area's best kept secret is an elegant, seated dinner (or lunch) at Poplar Grove, where you
will dine in the house!
Reserved privately for your group. Includes brief house tour.
Sample menu includes Garden Salad, Roasted Tenderloin of Pork, Seasonal Vegetables,
Sweet Potato Soufflé, and Chocolate Cake with Strawberries.

A typical New Orleans style brunch or lunch in the pavilion built by one of New
Orleans' greatest architects, Thomas Sully. Includes complimentary welcome beverage and
Creole Grillades, Cheese Grits, Mixed Fruit Compote, and Biscuits. |

Weddings and Receptions
An intimate and elegant wedding or reception at Poplar Grove can be the
memory of a lifetime for your special day. Weddings are held either under the spreading
branches of a 100 year-old live oak, or on the porch of the Victorian mansion. Limitations
appropriate to a historic landmark do apply. Limit 150 guests. We can recommend florists,
caterers, and photographers.
